Hey there, beautiful mama! I went swimsuit shopping and discovered it’s kind of tough for those of us who prefer to clothe our bodies in beautiful threads that promote femininity and provide comfortable cover. Modest bathing suits for moms are difficult to find in stores.

I came home disappointed, but decided to try my search for pretty, comfortable, modest swimwear online. Fortunately, the internet came through for me.

I don’t know why you choose to dress modestly, and it’s really none of my business, but I know why I choose modesty and I’m happy to see retailers offering moms like us a wider selection of modest clothing – at least online.

It’s not too difficult to find a modest one piece bathing suit. I think it’s always been the go-to choice for most modest mamas.

And, if the bottom of the bathing suit is not quite modest enough, you can always add a pair of swim shorts to get the level of coverage you prefer.

Modest Tankini Bathing Suits

As much as I love a pretty, modest one piece bathing suit, I can’t deny that tankinis are much easier to get in and out of.

We all know what happens when you’re swimming and you need to run to the ladies’ room. If there is a drop of water on your body that one piece swimsuit is going to put up a fight.

You can avoid all the wrestling on and wrestling off by wearing a tankini!

Also, if you are going to wear swim shorts or a swim skirt with your one piece anyway, a tankini saves a little money.

Modest Swim Dresses

I can’t think of a more modest and feminine swimsuit than a swim dress. I love that swim dresses allow us to go from playing the water to lounging pool side without having to change or put on a longer cover up.

Swim dresses provide comfort and coverage, as well as being a casual outfit to wear while sitting on the beach.
