Samara is 25 years old, living in the big city on her own. She has worked fulltime for the past two years and is being heavily involved in her community. With volunteering, working full time, it left minimal time for herself.

Recently, she started blogging My Adventure Called Life.  Although it began as a hobby and something just for her, it quickly became a passion. She now spends all her free time blogging, or researching blogging, and plans to travel in the upcoming year.

Samara is adventurous and always up for a challenge. She joined Our Small Hours in May of 2015, as a way to write, learn and be a part of an additional blogging community outside of her own blog.

Katie McIntosh is a clumsy, free spirited, nature loving, pro wrestling fanatic who has an unfortunate knack for being socially awkward. Like when you go to buy a movie ticket and they say “enjoy the movie”… and you respond with “you too… oh sorry you’re working” Yep, that’s her!

In 2013, Katie left her job, packed what she could into two suitcases, sold the rest and moved to America to marry her sweetheart. He deployed a month later. Crazy timing huh? What followed was a hectic immigration and set-up-life-in-a-new-country phase and now here she is 18 months later, living in the tropical paradise of Hawaii and blogging about her journey.
