Melon balls are a great addition to a summer party spread. They are adorable and easy to eat. Skewering different types of melons makes a colorful treat for children. Freezing skewered melons makes a healthy “popsicle”, as well.

It’s so easy you won’t believe you didn’t think of it sooner!
The secret revealed . . .
Rounded measuring spoons. I know! Easy, right?
I made the watermelon balls in the picture using a tablespoon, a 1/2 tablespoon a teaspoon. Who needs a single-sized melon baller when you’ve got a drawer full of various sized measuring spoons to work with?
Happy Summer Party Time!
