Real Food Diary – What I Ate Today
One awesome thing about eating a real food diet is not counting calories. That’s right! I don’t care how many calories I eat in a day. I don’t think about it and I certainly don’t track it.
My diet tends to balance out over the week with some days providing more calories than others.
As someone who used to suffer from an eating disorder I enjoy the freedom of a real food diet. Counting calories, nutrients, and glasses of water tends to trigger obsession in my brain. It’s a slippery slope that I’m happy to have been rescued from.
Eating a real food diet allows me to eat until I’m full without a second thought about going over an arbitrary calorie allowance.
Keeping my diet 80/20 helps me keep my sweet tooth in check, too.
Here’s today’s entry.
