Real Food Diary – What I Ate Today
Eating a healthy diet doesn’t mean never eating out.
Think of the 80/20 rule that says as long as you eat healthy 80% of the time you can relax your standards a bit 20% of the time. Of course, just how relaxed you get is up to you.
In today’s real food diary entry, you can see how I handle eating out. Most restaurants today have healthy options that taste great. Read on to see what I ate.
Breakfast
2 eggs scrambled in coconut oil and topped with colby-jack cheese
1/4 cup cinnamon steel cut oatmeal (See my soaked oatmeal recipe.)
1 cup of coffee with coconut sugar, low-temp pasteurized cream
 Snack
1 flourless brownie

Lunch

8 grain-free chicken nuggets
Jasmine rice
Dinner

Grilled Shrimp with mango salsa
Cheese Grits
