It’s Sunday and that means it’s time for my Weekly Real Food Menu Plans! Each week I will list what we’re having for dinner Sunday-Saturday. My family eats a real food diet at least 80% of the time, so if you’re looking for new ideas for real food dinners, you’ve come to the right place!
Cashew Chicken–2 cups (dry) Basmasti rice (seasoned to taste with salt and butter); 1/2 cup cashews; 3 lbs cubed chicken breasts; 1.5 cups peanut satay sauce. Cook the rice. While the rice is cooking, cube and cook the chicken in a pan in coconut oil. Combine the rice, chicken, cashews and satay sauce in a large pot or serving bowl. Enjoy!
Gluten-Free Spaghetti (Keeping it simple because I’ll be doing Christmas baking this day!)
Hashbrown Casserole (2lbs frozen, shredded potatoes; 1.5 cups sour cream; 2 cups shredded cheese–divide in half; 2 tsp garlic powder; 2 tsp onion powder; 1.5 tsp salt; 1/2 cup cream. Mix it all (just 1 cup of the cheese) together in a large bowl. Grease an 11 X 13 casserole with butter. Put hashbrown mixture in casserole dish. Top with remaining cup of cheese. Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes.
Christmas (We’ll be having various appetizers, some real food, some processed.)
BBQ Chicken Sandwiches
Grilled Chicken Salad (Grilled Chicken Tenders on a bed of baby spring mix. Topped with bacon, cheese and homemade ranch.)
