Homemade Fruit Juice Gelatin


  • 3 cups of organic fruit juice of choice We like red grape and white grape best. Apple makes a mildly flavored gelatin and orange is good, but not translucent.
  • 3 tbs grass-fed gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water


  • Heat juice to boiling
  • While waiting for juice to heat, dissolve gelatin 1/4 cup of water
  • Wisk gelled mixture into juice until melted
  • Pour into dish or mold of choice
  • Chill until set


I make homemade fruit snacks by adding more gelatin to the juice. I double the amount of gelatin and cut the final product into squares or into other shapes with a cookie cutter.
